Handmade earrings from our Toronto studio
All our earrings are designed and handcrafted in our Toronto studio by artisan-goldsmiths Christian Hasler and Helen Kim-Hasler. The collection ranges from refined everyday earrings and gemstone studs to more distinctive one-of-a-kind designs, with an emphasis on thoughtful proportions, colour and comfortable wear.
We work in 14K and 18K gold, platinum and sterling silver. Natural gemstones are an important part of our work, and as GIA-trained gemmologists we personally consider their colour, cut and individual character when developing each design.
Over the years, we have built an extensive collection of loose natural gemstones acquired from sources around the world. Diamonds, sapphires and a wide variety of coloured gemstones from this collection regularly inspire our designs, allowing us to create earrings around stones selected for their colour, proportions and character. Each pair is carefully handcrafted, set, finished and polished by us in our studio.

Rather than producing jewellery in large quantities, we make our earrings individually or in small numbers, and many designs are one of a kind. This allows us to explore different gemstones, textures, shapes and traditional goldsmithing techniques while maintaining the individuality and craftsmanship of jewellery made by hand.
Our earrings can be viewed by appointment in our Toronto showroom, and selected pieces are available directly through our online shop for shipping within Ontario and across Canada. You can also see our latest work in person at the exhibitions we attend throughout the year.
As artisan-goldsmiths specialising in custom-made jewellery and the remodelling of existing pieces, we can also use one of our earring designs as inspiration for something made specifically for you. We can work with suitable gemstones from our own collection, or incorporate treasured gemstones from jewellery you already own into a new design.
