Design Story

The soft green-blue colour and rounded dome of this aquamarine led us toward a gentler, more fluid design. Its substantial cabochon shape gives the ring presence without relying on sharp lines or intricate detail, while the warmth of rose gold complements the stone’s calm colour. The result is a simple one-of-a-kind ring with a smooth sculptural character, created for someone drawn to natural gemstones with softness, individuality, and an easy sense of colour.

Metal, Setting and Wearability

The ring is handmade in solid 14K rose gold and weighs 7.50 grams. It measures approximately 14.00 mm across the top, giving the aquamarine a substantial setting while maintaining the clean, rounded presentation of the design.

Gemmologist’s Note

Aquamarine belongs to the beryl family and is best known for colours ranging from pale blue to greenish blue. Cabochon aquamarines are often translucent rather than transparent, giving them a softer appearance than faceted stones. At 11.10 ct, this natural aquamarine has the size and rounded surface needed for its green-blue colour and calm visual character to become the central feature of the ring.
